Varnishing Day is a long held tradition, and is a moment for exhibiting artists to celebrate their work as part of a first view before the opening celebrations. (Historically it was a moment to add a touch of varnish to your works before the official opening - but please don't come hoping to do that! Due to the popularity of this event booking is essential. Please note that only exhibiting artists can attend Varnishing Day.
