Thursday 2 - Sunday 5 June 2022 Jubilee Holiday weekend

All the family can unlock their creativity and wild imaginations to create a fun identikit character and play around with the Royal theme in this self-led workshop. Discover how to make your own identikit and enjoy the creative possibilities of portraitures inspired by Royal characters to celebrate the Jubilee!

Jill Carter, multi-media artist, invites us all to be inspired and have fun making an identikit - eyes, noses, mouths, ears, hairdos and hats, with the occasional beard, too...

The artist has created less than perfect drawings on paper with acrylic inks, but images can be added to or created yourself with felt-tip pens, pencils or crayons too. Follow the inspirational short video in the Family Activity Space and use the selection of features to make up your own portrait of a Royal or other fun character.

Don't forget to send a photo to us before you take your masterpiece home!

Suitable for all ages.

Parents/Carers must remain with their children in the Family Activity Space.

Please help our staff and volunteers by tidying up after your family to keep the room looking brilliant for the next family to enjoy!
