Trusts and Foundations

Trusts and foundations

The RWA is an independent charity (1070163) and only 1.2% of our costs are met with funding from the public purse (a £9,600 Openness grant from Bristol City Council).  The support of Trusts and Foundations is essential for us to run an engaging programme of activities for people of all ages, both at the RWA and right across Bristol, including areas of multiple deprivation in the community, and also our programme of exhibitions, bringing world-class art to the city and region, and giving exhibiting opportunities to emerging talents from diverse backgrounds.

We are currently seeking support towards our £4.1m Light and Inspiration capital project to secure the future of the organisation and save the galleries from major structural failure, as well as enriching our learning programmes.
