This class is free to attend although you will need to register in order to be sent the Zoom details.

The session will take place on Zoom, and you will need to provide your own paper, pencils a piece of fruit or a simple object from which to draw. 

Sometimes when we draw we concentrate so much on trying to make something look like what we see, we forget how important it is to treat the making of the drawing like a dance - the way you move the pencil matters! 

Join artist Meg Buick for a series of exercises that will challenge you to shake off old habits, and hopefully inject some life and energy into your drawings with some inspiration from art history. Bring pencils, paper, a piece of fruit or some simple objects that you would like to draw . 

You will need a device on which you can use Zoom, with a working camera and microphone. You do not need to have a Zoom account. Participants will receive an email in advance of the session containing Zoom details and any necessary additional information. The Zoom session will start 15 minutes before the advertised start time, to ensure all participants have logged on successfully and feel ready for the session.
