Thursday 4th August 2022, 2 – 4 pm

Join Let’s Make Art for a family workshop celebrating the bountifulness of our planet. In this session families will get to decorate a paper globe with cut outs from vinyl, displaying your ideas of what makes the Earth perfect to you. Favourite animals, flora and fauna, food, family members, symbols of peace, messages of protest or hope.
The RWA exhibition Earth: Digging Deep in British Art 1781 - 2022 examines how attitudes towards the landscape have evolved over the centuries and how artists’ approaches have changed over time; from the pastoral idylls of the 18th century, to present-day confrontations of the climate emergency.
Historically, the earth is recognised as the ultimate provider and we will look at how an appreciation for the natural world has grown in the wake of the global pandemic, when the link between our own wellbeing and nature has been felt more acutely.

Limited places available - booking recommended.

Parents/Carers must remain with their children for the duration of the session. Accompanying adults will receive complimentary exhibition entry.
