Schools Facilities and Conduct
Family Activity Space
The Family Activity Space is an interactive child-friendly area that children and young people are welcome to explore. School groups are welcome to use the space and cloakroom facilities can be provided for students. Packed lunches can be eaten in the Family Activity Space too.
Toilets
Toilets can be found on the ground and basement floors. An accessible toilet with changing places facilities can be found in the basement adjacent to The Family Activity Space.
Lift
There is a lift to all three floors, which can be found to the left of the entrance on the Ground Floor.
Conduct
- Photography regulations vary between exhibitions - please check with us beforehand or on the day of the visit. There are often signs next to artworks that cannot be photographed.
- We recommend bags to be left in the cloakroom to avoid accidentally knocking artworks.
- The gallery rules may differ depending on exhibition to please check on entry
- Please note that teachers are responsible for student's behaviour and safety at all times. All group leaders should carry out their own risk assessment prior to their visit. At no stage can the RWA assume the formal duty of care on behalf of teachers.
