The Lark Trust supports RWA's Learning and Engagement programme

The RWA is pleased to share that the Lark Trust has created an endowment fund which will support the RWA in delivering wellbeing and engagement work reaching underserved communities in Bristol.
The RWA’s learning and engagement programme welcomes over 2,000 people a year who take part in activities that have a positive impact on the wellbeing of people who live in challenging circumstances, often in unserved areas, and provides many people with higher level needs with extra support so that they can access art and creativity.
The donation, that will be invested as an endowment, will enable us to continue to offer responsive and relevant ways for people to engage with the creativity, improving wellbeing and facilitating life-long journeys with the arts.
The opportunity for the Lark Trust to join with the RWA’s Learning & Engagement programme, with similar aims as the Lark Trust, was a practical and sensible means of combining efforts. This is especially true at the current time when it is difficult for the RWA to raise funds, and when many funding avenues are in short supply or even cut.
RWA Director, Ren Renwick, shared that “The Lark Trust’s endowment is therefore truly vital to us in being able to continue using the power of art and wellbeing across Bristol, including for and with some of the most underserved communities and individuals.”
