Connections: Brain Art Competition Winners 2023

A showcase of artwork inspired by the brain, in partnership with University of Bristol Neuroscience Festival. The Brain Art Competition (run by RWA and University of Bristol) is open to community groups, primary schools and secondary schools. All the competition entries are judged by a panel of artists and neuroscientists, and the winning entries are displayed at RWA for one month. This year's theme, 'Connections', inspired some very impressive and thought-provoking pieces of art.
Entrance to this exhibition, the Cafe, Family Activity Space and Photolab are free.
Alongside this exhibition are other exhibitions and activities celebrating Photography including ticketed shows such as the Photo Open and Jem Southam's A Bend in the River.

An exhibition celebrating the ground breaking work of influential Pakistani artist, curator, and activist Rasheed Araeen. His work addresses ideas of nation, belonging and migration probing and exploring ideas of 'Black' British-ness.
