Twilight - The Blue Hour
10 March - 26 April 2026
Curated by Judith Jones RWA
Featuring Ros Cuthbert RWA, Stephen Jacobson RWA and Judith Jones RWA
The ‘blue hour’ of twilight is the transition between day and night. It is a magical time, in which spaces become dreamlike.
The artworks in this exhibition examine and capture the elusive and fleeting atmosphere of twilight. The transitional ‘blue hour’ inspires magical and ambiguous narratives, within spaces that are intriguing, fascinating, and sometimes disconcerting.
Judith Jones RWA, curator and exhibiting artist, thinks of these pieces as ‘windows to the outside’ and invites you to explore them, on the wall and on the screen, to read the stories, and to be still for a moment in the ‘Blue Hour’ that exists each day.
