Sculpture Inspired by Travel

Let's Make Art have made a free family workshop for you to access online that directly responds to our current exhibition, Wilhelmina Barns-Graham: Inspirational Journeys.

This fantastic workshop is for all the family to make together (or individually!) with materials you might be able to find at home.

Enjoy making your own towering colourful sculpture covered in imagery that reminds you of travelling far and wide - to real or imaginary places.

Create your own paper construction which is inspired by Peter Burke RWA and the Folly exhibition.

Create a geometric artwork using folded paper, bold black lines, and colourful decoration inspired by Rachael Nee.

Use card and glue to create a 3D monster and customise it with pens to create your own unique creature.

Create a bubble painting inspired by Dallas Collins’s Many Worlds (2024).
