Draw Your Own Picture With String

This workshop is inspired by artist Alice Kettle's textile work. Instead of using pencil to draw your artwork, you will learn how to use string to create your own picture.

Suitable for ages 8 and up, the workshop takes about 1-2 hours.

You will need: Card, pencil, PVA glue (glue-sticks are not appropriate), string, scissors (adult help may be needed), paint and paintbrushes

Thanks to Libby Airs, who created this workshop during the 2025 SGS Work Placement at the RWA.
