British Art Show 10: A Chorus of Strangers
19 June - 19 September 2027
Bristol is to host the British Art Show 10 (BAS) as part of London's Hayward Gallery 75 year anniversary celebrations.
The touring exhibition is coming to Bristol from 19 June to 19 September 2027 and will be hosted by the RWA alongside partners Arnolfini Arts, Bristol Museums, and Spike Island.
Curator Ekow Eshun’s vision brings together over 30 artists, showcasing the most exciting art produced in the UK over the last five years, to make us think about how art can challenge fears of otherness and difference.
Organised around three interwoven themes – Moments of Being, Ways of Living and States of Nature – A Chorus of Strangers will respond to the world we’re living in now. How we are shaped by social division, climate uncertainty and political tension and asks how art can help us imagine empathy, connection and shared futures.
