Important: This page is for exhibiting artists only.

Results emails were sent to all artists on the 15th of July 2026.  Please ensure that you have checked your results prior to booking your hand in slot.

As a reminder, artists are required to bring their works to the RWA during the hand-in days between 15 - 17 August 2026. Artists must book a slot for drop off.

Key Steps:

Book Your Drop off Slot:

  • If your work is selected for the exhibition, you must book a drop off slot above. The dates for artist hand-ins are the 15th, 16th and 17th of August 2026.
  • The RWA cannot accept works outside of this timeframe. If you will be unable to deliver on the above dates, please contact exhibition@rwa.org.uk. We will do all that we can to facilitate an alternative but if nothing can be reached, this may result in the work not being exhibited
  • If the piece is heavy, please bring another person to assist in the transport wherever possible.
  • If the work is being delivered by courier, please ensure that it arrives during the hand in period.
  • IMPORTANT: Works must be handed in unwrapped, with any packaging being taken away by the artist.

Delivery Address:

  • Address: RWA, Queens Rd, Clifton, Bristol BS8 1PX
  • Parking: Available on the forecourt during drop-off. There is limited space, so please move your vehicle promptly after picking up your work.

Key Information:

  • Be prepared for potential wait times during busy periods.
  • Arrive anytime within your hourly booked slot.
  • RWA technicians can assist with large or heavy works. You may also bring your own help.
  • Stick to your booked time slot as closely as possible.
  • For BSL interpreter or accessibility support, contact exhibition@rwa.org.uk.

How to Label and Deliver Your Work:

  1. Print off your QR code that was sent in your results email.
  2. Attach your labels:
    • Use thin white card or paper for labels, attached with string and strong tape. The string should hang in front when mounted.
    • Labels should not be laminated or in plastic wallets. They are recycled after the show.
    • Include your name and title of work on the back.
    • Clearly mark the top of the work with a 'this way up' indicator on the back.
  3. Delivering Your Work:
    • Works should arrive unwrapped. Space will be available to unwrap on delivery. Please take packaging with you.
    • Fragile works can remain wrapped if the image is visible during placement.
    • If you are arranging for a courier to deliver your work, artists must email exhibition@rwa.org.uk with details of the delivery at least one week in advance.
