Sally Muir is based in Bath and is a painter of dogs and people and sometimes landscapes, rodents and birds. She graduated from Bath Spa School of Art and Design in 2003 with a First Class Honours Degree, and has been showing her work and painting to commission ever since.
As well as painting, Sally is half of the knitwear design company Muir and Osborne, who have been working as designers for over 30 years. They have also published the Best in Show Knit your own Dog/Cat/Pet/Farm/series of books.
Sally shows her work regularly and has pieces in the Holbourne Museum, Ruth Borchard Self Portrait collection and Victoria and Albert Museum as well as many private collections.
She aims with both her painting and drawings for simplicity and directness, using any means necessary to achieve this.
