Rosanna Morris
Rosanna Morris is an illustrator and printmaker based here in Bristol. She studied for her foundation at Queens road and went on to study Illustration Camberwell School of Art, where she developed her own unique style, evoking the traditional feel of British Wood Engravings within the aesthetic of contemporary illustration. Her interest in Printmaking took her to Mexico, where she visited various Printmaking collectives. It was while learning from Printmakers in Oaxaca that she deepened her relationship with the medium of Relief, and began to understand the potential for Print as a means of communication and a collaborative process. In 2016 Rosanna co-founded Cato Press, where she prints, teaches, and facilitates a space for members of the studio. Rosanna has also long been interested in sustainability, food sovereignty and growing, and many of her prints explore themes of horticulture and the natural world. She also takes illustration commissions and enjoys the creative challenge of working to a brief.
