Over five informal sessions, explore different approaches to creating children’s books and find one that works for you. The course will consider character design, narrative, illustrating a text, page composition and world creation. Drawing games will be used and to introduce participants to the many children’s book styles. By the end of the course students will develop a children’s book character and a short-illustrated narrative sequence. Over the last 17 years Sean Julian has illustrated and written many different children’s books, working for UK and international publishers.
Cancellation Policy: If you cancel your booking within 2 weeks of the start of the course or workshop you will not be eligible to receive a refund, nor will you be eligible to transfer to another course/workshop unless we can find someone to take your place on your original booking.
If we cancel a course or workshop for whatever reason then you will be offered a different date, workshop/course, or a full refund.
