Tutor - Martin Edwards
Saturdays 12 and 19 June, 10.30am - 1.30pm
This 2-part class will be taking place on Zoom.
Having good quality photographs of your artwork can help greatly with things like entering exhibitions, funding applications, publication in print or presenting an online portfolio. This workshop is aimed at artists who would like to produce good quality and accurate images of their work for purposes such as these. It is a practical workshop in which you will learn the essentials of lighting and camera settings needed to do this, and take photographs of your own artwork, whether 2D or 3D. We will use available light and cheap, readily obtainable accessories rather than expensive specialised equipment. We will also have a brief look at cropping and resizing the photographs for various uses. Participants will be sent some helpful guides in advance.
Before booking we ask everyone please read our updated Terms and Conditions below.
Participants must be 16 or over.
You will need a device that you can use Zoom on, with a working camera and microphone. You do not need to have a Zoom account. Students will receive an email in advance of the class with the subject and link for the upcoming session. The Zoom session will start 15 minutes before, to ensure all participants have logged on successfully and feel ready for the session.
If eligible, discounts must be applied when first purchasing your class and cannot be given retrospectively. Please contact us if the discount code is not working.
Items you will need to have to hand in order to participate in this class are:
