Tutor - Janet Haigh

1-day workshop

Saturday 11 June 2022, 10.30am - 4.30pm

This class will be taking place in person at Court House Farm, 3 Church Road South, Portishead, Bristol, BS20 6PU

Draw colour studies of both individual stems and small tied bunches of seasonal flowers and leaves from the cutting garden at Court House Farm, artfully arranged by owner of the property, Helen Reed. Artist-tutor, Janet Haigh, will show her sketchbook of flower studies developed over many years, and discuss the ways that flower sketches have informed new directions in her work.

Crayons, ink pencils, chalk pencils and pastel will be provided, though you will need to bring a sketchbook, and are welcome to bring any of your own preferred drawing media. Suitable for all abilities

Participants will be walking around the grounds and flower gardens, so please wear weather appropriate clothing and sensible footwear. Unfortunately some of the terrain at Court House Farm is uneven and not suitable for wheelchair or rollator access. There are toilets onsite, but please note they require going up/down a step for access.

Buying as a gift?

Participants must be 16 or over.

If eligible, discounts must be applied when first purchasing your class and cannot be given retrospectively. Please contact us if the discount code is not working.

If you have a disability, learning difficulty or mental health issue which you feel may affect your participation in your chosen class, please either email drawingschool@rwa.org.uk or call 07745694563, prior to booking, so we are aware of any needs you may have.

Refund/transfer and Cancellation Policy: We are unable to offer full or part cash refunds, but you are eligible for an RWA gift voucher or transfer, provided you notify us more than 14 days before the start of your class with us. If we cancel a course or workshop for any reason, then participants will be offered a different date, course/workshop or RWA gift voucher.
