During this course you will have the chance to explore various oil painting techniques inspired by the Canadian landscape and the work of Tom Thomson and Peter Doig amongst others.  We will explore using a palette knife, working on board, using a coloured ground, using thin washes, building up glazes and exploring texture. This will be a fun and experimental course where you can build confidence and develop your own style.
