Due to the lockdown the classes dates have been postponed a week, so classes will be 4th/11th/18th Dec.
Build your confidence and develop drawing skills in a relaxed and supportive environment. Study how to ‘look’, how to handle materials and how to select a subject while all the time developing your own style of mark-making. Reference to artists will inform and inspire the sessions. Topics such as line, tone and composition will be covered through both group instruction and individual feedback. Suitable for beginners or those returning to drawing.

Participants must be 16 or over.
All students are required to wear a facemask. Those who have an age, health or disability reason to not wear a face covering please email firstname.lastname@example.org before your class. Please read through our full safety precautions here.
If eligible, discounts must be applied when first purchasing your class and cannot be given retrospectively. Please contact us if the discount code is not working.
All basic materials provided for this workshop (heavier weight papers available at cost price). Please bring an apron or wear clothes suitable for an art studio. You may wish to bring in something to take work home.
If you have a disability, learning difficulty or mental health issue which you feel may affect your participation in your chosen class, please either email email@example.com or call 0117 906 7606, prior to booking, so we are aware of any needs you may have. If you need to bring a Carer or Support Worker with you to the class, please inform us when enrolling so we can make arrangements. The RWA has disabled access through its main entrance and level access to the cafe and shop on the Ground Floor. There is lift access to the Main Galleries on the First Floor as well as access to the Long Gallery and accessible toilet on the Lower Ground Floor. If you require the use of the Accessible Parking space please contact front desk on: 0117 973 5129.
Refund and Cancellation Policy: We will no longer be giving any cash refunds. If we are unable to hold a course or workshop in the drawing school as a result of an external factor outside of our control, such as a new lockdown, we will endeavour to provide an online version or similar by the Tutor and will not provide an alternative or refund. In the case that you have COVID-19 symptoms, you would not be able to attend the class, we can offer an RWA gift voucher. If we cancel a course or workshop for another reason, such as tutor sickness, then participants will be offered a different date, course/workshop or RWA gift voucher.
