Ann Scampton
Ann Scampton is a Council Member and Trustee of the Architects Benevolent Society, a post she has held since 1992. She was also Chairman of the Royal Institute of British Architects South West Region during the 1970's and the President of the Bristol and Somerset Society of Architects during the same decade.
She exhibits at the RWA Annual Exhibitions and acknowledges the impact of architecture on her work. Frank Lloyd Wright and Lutyens are architects whose influences she cites. Bernard Dunstan, Willis Page and James Michie are the painters and etchers she sees as influential and Bruce Chatwin in the media of photography and film.
