Join Eden 4 Artists, Rosie, Beckie, Rachel & Amy for a fun day of children’s arts and crafts workshops.

In the afternoon workshop for older children, ‘3D Landscapes’ we will use the John and Paul Nash exhibition to develop ideas of sets, miniatures and fairy-tales to get inspiration for the children to make their own, magical 3D worlds.

Eden 4 is an artist led group comprising of four female artists based in the South West who have recently received funding from O2 think big to run children’s art workshops in Bristol. Rosie Dolton and Beckie Upton both work with sculpture & textiles, Rachel Falber is a successful illustrator, and Amy Higgins is a fine artist specialising in drawing.

The children will have a chance create unique artworks inspired by the John and Paul Nash Exhibition which they will be able to take away with them at the end.

These fun and informal workshops will encourage them to explore the themes of landscapes, memories and stories which closely ties in with our current ‘Back to the Front’ series of exhibitions.

Please be aware that the workshops will be messy! So don’t wear your best clothes.

Eden 4 are a recently formed artist collective comprising four emerging female artists based in the South West. Thanks to funding from 02 they are able to run a series of FREE children’s art-making workshops at RWA, inspired by the Back from the Front exhibition.
