Why support the RWA

Why support us?

With your help people of all ages can enjoy our exhibitions and creative activities.

  • Audiences from the South West will be able to be ‘wowed’ by the historical and contemporary work exhibited in our stunning galleries
  • Young people will be able to benefit from free entry to all our exhibitions
  • We can continue to offer opportunities for emerging artists through our Artists’ Network scheme
  • Children and their families can spend time together, bonding through taking part in free, creative activities such as Scribble and Sketch activities at Easton Community Centre and Redcliffe Children's Centre, which are so popular
  • We can support schools and school children by offering activities to help them gain an Arts Award, a nationally-recognised qualification
  • We can continue to support the artist ecology in the South West by offering opportunities for our 150-strong Academicians and Artist Network members
  • We can continue to look after our amazing Grade II* listed building, including essential repairs to the roof and rooflights
  • We can reduce our bills by replacing our expensive lighting tracks with more energy-efficient ones
  • We can encourage more people to visit by making improvements to our forecourt and frontage
  • We can bring nationally-important works of art for people in Bristol and the wider region to experience
