Welcome Team
There's nothing like a welcoming smile and that little bit of extra information that you didn't know before to make a visit much more enjoyable.
If you are the social type, then this could be just for you. We need volunteers to build up a regular 'Welcome team' of gallery stewards to look after visitors in the main galleries.
For more information please download the Volunteer Invigilator Information Sheet.
If you would like to volunteer please email volunteers@rwa.org.uk giving a brief summary of why you would like to volunteer and indicate which day and time would best suit you e.g. Tuesday from 10.30am to 12.30.

How it helps us
As a charity, the RWA relies heavily on the support and dedication of volunteers. The support we are given facilitates the hanging of shows, collating of work, running of fundraising events and much more.
Benefits for you
By volunteering, individuals have the chance to become involved with many operational aspects of a prestigious and established arts institution. This allows you to enhance and develop your own skills and knowledge and provides you with the opportunity to achieve something outside of your everyday sphere of experience.
Volunteering is particularly beneficial if you're looking for a career in the art world, but also allows you unprecedented access to people and experiences which may otherwise be out of reach. There are a huge number and variation of ways to be involved and we welcome help and enthusiasm.
