Landreth Leaper is an untrained artist who has participated in group shows in a variety of venues in the South West. His work has been included on two occasions at Bath's Rooksmoor Gallery.

In contemplating the various influences which have stimulate and inform his work, he outlines his working methodology by saying:

'I am influenced by what I see and feel. My emotional response dominates a painting from the earliest concept to the final stroke or flourish. My inner feelings and responses influence my work. I would suggest that my work is further influenced by my working environment which (factory worker) is essentially hostile and devoid of interest or stimulation. Art work is of course a splendid foil, though demanding - rewarding.'
