We are delighted to invite Friends of the RWA to an exclusive talk by Melissa Wraxall.

For thousands of years, humans across the globe have keenly observed the cycles of the night sky, weaving mythology into the seasonal and navigational star knowledge they needed to survive. To complement the recent RWA show Cosmos, (now touring to Aberdeen) join Australian born, Bath based painter Melissa Wraxall, for insights into the celestial knowledge of First Nations artists from Australia, in 'Southern Skies: contemporary Aboriginal responses to the cosmos'.
