Charlotte Ardizzone trained at St Martins and the Byam Shaw Schools of Art and had her first solo exhibition at the Drian Gallery in 1970. On her father's side, she comes from generations of painters. She has lived and worked in Italy and London.
Her Norfolk and southern French home in the Lot, provide inspiration for her recent paintings. Landscapes, interiors and still lives in oils, watercolours and pastels form the main body of her work. Amongst numerous solo exhibitions she has shown at Blond Fine Art, London in 1979 and the Curwen Gallery, London in 1984.
 
She has exhibited regularly at The Royal Academy Summer Exhibitions and has been represented in mixed exhibitions at the Grabowski Gallery and the New Grafton Gallery as well as many others. Examples of her work in prominent permanent collections can be found in the National Gallery of Australia and the Universities of Columbia and Dublin.
 
Charlotte Ardizzone is also a member of the New English Art Club.
