| Anthony
Fry attended Camberwell School of Arts and Crafts from 1947 to 1950 after
which he was awarded the Rome Scholarship. In 1953 he started his teaching
career with a three year post at Bath Academy of Art, Corsham. Whilst at
Bath Academy he was a prize winner at the John Moore's Liverpool Exhibition.

| He
has been awarded two fellowships in the 1960's and early 1980's. These were
the Harkness and Lorne Fellowships. He has had fifteen solo exhibitions
since 1955, which have been included in such galleries as New Art Centre,
London, Browse & Darby, London and Peter Findlay Gallery, New York. |

| His
work can be found in public collections in the U.K. at the Arts Council
of Great Britain, Contemporary Art Society, Saatchi Collection and Tate
Gallery amongst others. Also at the Stuyvesant Foundation, U.S.A. |

| Up
to 1993 Anthony Fry was painting tutor at Chelsea School of Art. He has
held additional tutorial positions in the painting schools of Camberwell,
Slade, Ruskin College and Cornel University U.S.A. |
