Figures on Woodborough Bridge
Enigmatic voluptuous landscape.
Enigmatic Voluptuous woman.

The place is woodborough bridge, it crosses the Kennet and Avon Canal and has been a place of significance for me since I first came to live in this area 37 years ago. It seemed remote when I first came, but isn’t, and it provided a mystery and a gate way to the hill beyond, and a view of the of the whole vale of Pewsey, a landscape full of mystery.

The woman is the first person I spoke to when I arrived in Devizes, she was voluptuous then and still is. She is like the landscape and the painting reflects her curves and sensual qualities.
