Tudor Portrait and Screen
Born 1925 in Sparkbrook, Birmingham, Kenneth Gribble attended Harrow School of Art before completing his studies at Camberwell School of Art in the late 1940s. Here he absorbed the teaching of Coldstream, Rogers, Gowing and Pasmore whose influence is still evident in his painting.

Gribble pursued a career in art education while continuing to paint and exhibit full time. As well as his paintings in the RWA permanent collection his work is held in the collections of Manchester City Art Gallery and the corporate collections of Ilminster, Salford and Middlesborough.
