Red Dog Finds a Home
Simon Garden graduated with a First Class BA (Hons) Degree in Fine Art from Exeter School of Art and Design in 1982, since when he has had a number of successful one man shows and participated in various open exhibitions. This has included the Royal Academy Summer Exhibitions and other leading Exhibitions such as The Hunting Prize.

His work is held in private collections throughout the UK, USA, Netherlands, Australia and Japan. Simon was elected as an Academician by The Royal West of England Academy in 2002.

Simon Garden uses a seductive use of rich colour and texture in his painting.As an Artist he creates a sense of composition that is classically beautiful whilst at the same time daring. Garden strips his landscapes and nudes down to their most elemental forms. This rare simplicity and purity of vision in his painting arouses the subconscious and fires the imagination, drawing us irresistibly into a world both dreamlike and timeless.
